CAST OUT - LIVE ACTION ANIMATION DOCUMENTARY
This experimental film discusses the problem of losing the ability to knit and craft in later life. I visited many ‘knit and natter’ groups to understand the community. Using three interviews, I told their stories of this issue, portrayed through knitted shapes. The title plays on the term to ‘cast on/off’ to begin your knit, now casting out the people unable to take part anymore.
