IF NOT THIS, THEN WHAT? EXHIBITION 2025
As part of 90Mil’s 3 Day Festival in August 2025 ‘IS THAT ALL THERE IS?’ A celebratory 3 days to show what a dynamic and vibrant hub 90Mil had been for so many creatives, filled with music performances, concerts, dance, installations. We, the 90Mil Ceramics team, put together a sanctuary in our studio. An exhibition as a place to wind down from the chaos that was the flow of the weekend. We build a ‘not a god’ that anyone could come and add to, this huge clay piece evolved over the 3 days to become something very unique. We created our own ‘not gods’ that were odes to 90Mil also. Mine, were a series of crows. Crows are a constant dark friend in the 90Mil gardens, and I feel very connected to them in this place. Crows are also associated with mourning and death, which this exhibition, and festival was in a sense, a place to mourn and celebrate what has been created, and will evidently be destroyed by the city of Berlin.
