ROYAL OPERA HOUSE
A live brief with Royal Opera House, to create a 30 second animation encouraging people to visit the Royal Opera House, using music given to us by the ROH, music by Simon Boccanegra. A collaborative project which focused on the architecture of the Royal Opera House, looking at the similarity between their large ornate window and the symbol of a fan.
We visited the Fan Museum in Greenwich, to understand the connotation, movement and material of a fan. We created multiple different fans, using the element of masking and diversion to play with the architecture of the ROH’s building and patterns.
